Lotto Results.

There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 28th July. The numbers were 11 – 27 – 29 – 30 three punters matched three numbers Colette Corcoran Kilmurrymore Castlehill Ballina, Martina Caden The Boreen Crossmolina, Mary Dolan Ballymachola Crossmolina each win €50. The draw took place in Lynott’s Bar. This week’s jackpot is €10,950. Many thanks for all your support

The Late Paddy McAndrew

The death occurred peacefully on Monday 6th August at his residence of Paddy McAndrew 87 St Marys Park Crossmolina and formerly of Doobeha Moygownagh Ballina. His remains reposed at his residence. Requiem mass on Thursday in St Tiernans Church with burial afterwards in Moygownagh Cemetery. Paddy is survived by his by sister Mary O’Meara, nephews Jerry O’Meara, Richard O’Meara, nieces Marie Carr, Margaret Barrett, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, friends, and neighbours my he rest in peace

 

World Meeting of Families- Opening Ceremony

Event: Opening Service of Prayer

· Location: St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina

· Date & Time: Tuesday 21 August @8pm

· Details: This Opening Service of Prayer will involve all parishes in the diocese. Every parish will carry a banner and will be involved in all the prayers. A reflection will be lead by 20 young people on the Road of Life using shoes. Our Petition Box will be carried with a large hand woven globe, representing our connection to each other across the universe. All parishes are invited to attend.

 

Bus to Knock for Papal Visit.

McGrath Coaches will be travelling to Knock for the visit of Pope Francis. Please ring 097 87842 to book your place. All people travelling are urged to use public transport to avoid a long walk to the Shrine.

Ironman Barry

Well done to Barry Loftus Mullenmore Crossmolina and Strand Fitness Ballina who competed in the gruelling Ironman events in Estonia recently. This was Barry’s seventh time competing in the event in which he returned a very commendable time of 10 hours and twenty six minuets  

 

Mens Shed.

All men in the Parish are welcome to join Crossmolina Men’s Shed. Open Monday 7 to 10pm Friday 7 to-10pm and Additional times if members request. Insurance to participate in projects and outing’s Semi Skilled and skilled men required to share their time and skills to all.
