There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto on Sunday 15th August. The numbers drawn were 19 – 28 – 33 – 34. No punter matched three numbers and three tickets were drawn Lainey Jordan Flynn Laherdane, Aidan O’Malley Keenagh Ballina, Siobhain Griffin Gortskeddia . They win €50 each. This week’s Jackpot is €13,800. The draw takes place in GAA Club Rooms on Saturday evening and can be viewed on Crossmolina GAA face book page. Crossmolina over came a stiff challenge from visitors Naomh Padraig in the north Darby in the U19 Division 3A League a Jonathan Murtagh goal after 9 minutes was the plat form for this victory Eoin Murphy Diarmuid Walsh kept the score board ticking over Padraic Breslin opened his side account with a point and Sean McKeon Crossmolina had the better of the exchanges after the water break tacking six points from Diarmuid Walsh two and one each from Jonathan Murtagh Eoin Murphy Luke Rowland and James Maheady Sean McKeon and Iarla Quinn raised white flags to leave the Half time score 1 – 9 to 1 – 3 Padraic Breslin grabbed a goal Naomh Padraig but this was cancelled out by Luke Rowland goal after 45 minutes a string of points from James Maheady Diarmuid Walsh Eoin Murphy to leave the Deel-Siders comfortable winners in the end by five points. U15 League Final
Crossmolina 4 – 11 Parke/Keeogues/Crimlin 1 – 10
Crossmolina capture the County U15 League title which they last won in 2014 with a comfortable win in the end over P/K/C in Bofeenaun on Tuesday last. The West Mayo side opened the scoring with a Dylan Quinn point which Dylan Flynn cancelled out with two excellent points Owen Kelly and Oisin Deane swopped points then Adam Mills pointed and Colm Lynch drove the ball to the net before the water break Dylan Flynn pointed to leave the score 1 – 3 to 0 – 5 Crossmolina came more into the game despite playing against the Breeze Adam Mills added two points and Dylan Flynn Raised a green flag Mark Bolger Dara Neary Evan Walsh and Neary again tied the score before Owen Kelly pointed to give his side a one point advantage at Half time. The Deel-Siders dominated the third quarter with goal from Josh Moyles and Oisin Deane racking up 1 – 3 with Adam Mills tacking on a point PKC reply was two points from Colm Lynch and Evan Walsh. The final fifteen minutes were played out with just one more score a Dylan Flynn Goal for the Deel-Siders. Despite the score line the West Mayo side tried their best to get into the game but Crossmolina defence were excellent and snuffed any danger that was applied with confidence. U13 C Semi-Final
Louisburgh made the long journey to St Tiernans Park on Thursday evening last for this County U13 League Semi-Final and were quickly on score board with a goal from Dylan O’Toole Crossmolina’s Evan Molloy found the net minutes later Ethan Reilly with two points and one from Ruairi McGuinnness gave the hosts a three points advantage at the water break. Ethan Reilly tacked on 1 – 1 and Christian Sweeney pointed Paul O’Malley reduced the lead with two points before half time. Dylan O’Toole repeated what did in the first half cracked the ball to the net for his sides second goal and Michael Ball rowed in with a point which were sandwiched between two points each from Aaron Keane and Ethan Reilly 2 – 9 to 2 – 3 further points from Aaron Keane and Ethan Reilly were cancelled out by Paul O’Malley who tacked on a goal and a point before the final whistle to leave Crossmolina winners by four points 2 – 11 to 3 – 4.
