Lotto Results 

There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 29th April. The numbers drawn were 2 – 4 – 13 – 31 Mary Mangan Derreen Boughadoon matched three numbers and won €150 each. The draw took place in Cooney’s This week’s Jackpot is €3,750. Many thanks for your continued Support. 

Crossmolina 2 – 8 Ballyhanuis 0 – 12  

Crossmolina got their Division 2A league campaign off to a winning start with a two points away win to Ballyhaunis on Saturday week Eamon Phillips and Keith Higgins pointed before James Maheady Kevin Mulhern replied with points in between Patrick Kiely  pointed and two points  from Eamon Phillips and one from Daniel Murray were cancelled out with an opportunist goal after twenty minutes  from David Howley who also tacked on a point minutes later Eamon Phillips and James Maheady exchanged points to leave the sides level at the break  1 – 5 to 0 – 8 Eamon Phillips was the scorer-in- chief for the hosts with four points in the second half  James Maheady and Kevin Mulhern pointe before The Coggins brothers Niall and Diarmuid and Diarmaid Walsh created the opportunity for James Maheady finish to the net and Robert Murphy tacked on a point to seal the win Crossmolina team and scorers J, P. Crossmolina 2 – 16 Ballinrobe 2 – 10 

Crossmolina overcame a very stiff challenge from Ballinrobe in this County U16 League tie in Tiernan’s Park on Thursday last the visitors played with the aid of a stiffish breeze but it was  Kobe McDonald Liam Clancy Luke Maloney Luke Williams and Oisin Deane were on the score board for the Deel-Siders  with a string of points for Ballinrobe  Rory Kilrane Aaron Crowley raised white flags and Jack Philbin grabbed their goal to give them a 1 – 5 to 0 – 7 advantage at the break Oisin Deane Ethan Reilly and Luke Williams pointed before Jack Philbin replied with a point and minuets later Sequoyah Duffy to restore the South Mayo sides advantage with a goal Caelan Tansey with two points and which were cancelled out with like scores from Liam Clancy and Luke Maloney. A 1 – 3 scoring bust from Kobe McDonald gave the Crossmolina boys the advantage again Ballinrobe’s reply was points from Rory Kilrane and Barry Og Langan Liam Clancy was on hand to blast the ball to net in stoppage time to give his side a six point’s winning margin after a fine open game on a cold may evening.
