Lotto Results.

There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot Saturday 3rd July. The numbers drawn were 1 – 21 – 33 – 35 no punter matched three numbers and three tickets were drawn Paidi and Frankie C/o John Cooney Church St, Damien Mulkearns Letterkenny Co Donegal and Laura Judge The Boreen Crossmolina they won €50 each.  This week’s Jackpot is €12,900. The draw takes place in GAA Club Rooms on Saturday evening and can be viewed on Crossmolina GAA face book page. The Committee would like to thank you for your continued support

 

Michael Walsh Cup. 

Crossmolina 1 – 14 Kiltmagh 1 – 13

Crossmolina overcame a resilient Kiltmagh team in the Michael Walsh cup game at Gilmartin Park on Saturday evening after the host dominated the opening quarter with a string of points from Killian Finn Conor Malee Ryan Carroll Ronan Malee and two from Dylan Roche with the visitors only rely was a pointed free from Fionan Duffy. After the water break Crossmolina scored five points from Kevin Mulhern Nigal Caden Gerard Haran and two from Fionan Duffy with Conor Malee raising a white flag for the hosts to leave the half time score 0 – 7 to 0 – 6 Fionan Duffy Gerard Haran Cathal Carolan tacked on points for the Deel-Siders in between Conor Malee Ronan Malee Mattie Cummins and Donavan Cosgrove kept the score board ticking over just before the water break Dean Loftus made a telling run through the heart of the Kiltmagh defence before he was up ended in the square and Fioan Duffy made no mistake from the penalty to put his side in to a one point lead 1 – 9 to 0 – 11 Brian Gallagher tied the score when play resumed Gerard Haran and Fionan Duffy pointed and Killian Finn quickly  restored  his side advantage when the blasted the ball to the net Conor Malee and Dean Loftus traded points before Fionan Duffy struck over long range free to tie the score. In injury time sub Edward Gough took a pass from a Gerard Haran quickly taken free to give Crossmolina a deserved one point winning margin in a game that could have gone either way.   Crossmolina team and scorers were  J. Crossmolina made the long journey to The Neale on Tuesday last and came away with a comfortable win after a great battle on a wet miserable evening. Crossmolina had a convincing win over a understrength Knockmore side in this U17 League tie in St Tiernans Park on Friday week.
