Crossmolina advanced to the County U21 Final on Saturday last at a very windy St Tiernan’s Park on testing under foot conditions after a night of very heavy rain and wind. The visitors played with the elements in the first half. Crossmolina created the most chances and lead at the break by 0 – 6 to 0 – 4 points coming from Diarmaid Walsh three, Darragh Syron, Diarmaid and Niall Coggins one each. Parke scorers were Cian Donohoe two points, one from Sean Sweeny and Simran Singh. With the wind assistance the host scored a string of points from Darragh Syron three points and James Maheady and Diarmaid Fox one each, before Danny McDonald tacked on 1 – 1. Darragh Reilly kept the West Mayo team plugging away with three points and a Sean Sweeney one before the Deel-Siders raised another five white flags in the closing minutes with James Maheady and Adam Mills scoring two each, then Danny McDonald one to run out comfortable winners in the end. There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night the 9th of December. The numbers drawn were 6 – 7 – 21 – 30. No punters matched three numbers and three tickets were drawn Kieran Gill Rathmore Crossmolina, Pat and Des Lavin Kiltmagh, Johnny and Clare Loftus Castlehill, they each won €50. The draw took place in Cooney’s. This week’s Jackpot is €8,550. Many thanks for your continued support.
