There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 2nd of December. The numbers drawn were 7 – 11 – 26 – 33. No punters matched three numbers. Three tickets were drawn, Declan Gilroy Keenagh Ballina, John and Siobhain Leonard Gortskeddia Crossmolina, Elvie Lacalle Lopez Galway. They each won €50. The draw took place in Hiney’s. Crossmolina 2 – 7 Aghamore 0 – 9
Crossmolina advanced to the semi-final of the Mayo U21 B Championship after a hard earned four points win over a very gallant Aghamore side at Tiernans Park. Crossmolina lead at the Break by 1 – 4 to 0 – 5, thanks to points from Daragh Syron amd Diarmaid Walsh. Two points from James Maheady and a goal from Diarmuid Coggins. Aghamors’ Tom O’Flaherty kicked three points, Briain Breslin and Dan Duffy tacked on points each. Eoin Murphy and Diarmaid Walsh which were cancelled out by the visitors Tom O’Flaherty Liam Cassidy. By the eleventh minute Tom O’Flaherty and Dara Duffy had edged their side into a one-point lead. A James Maheady goal from a free in the twenty second minute, which deceived the defenders and crept into the net for the decisive score. Eoin Murphy kicked the insurance points in the twenty-eighth minute after a very entertaining game that was always in the melting pot. Crossmolina team and scorers were Conor Reynolds, Liam Connor, Matthew Gordetskyy, Diarmaid Fox, Joe Gill, Niall Maughan, Eoin O’Boyle, Killian Fergus, Dara Syron 0 – 1, Niall Coggins, James Maheady 1 – 2, Danny McDonald, Diarmuid Walsh 0 – 2, Eoin Murphy 0 – 2 and Diarmaid Coggins 1 – 0.
