There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday 14th December The numbers were 1 – 14 – 28 – 31 two punters matched three numbers Sean Syron Killacuraun Castlehill Ballina, Aidan O’Malley Keenagh Ballina each win €75. The Draw took place in Cawleys of Rakestreet. This weeks Jackpot is €3,150. Many thanks for all your support. The Late Tommy Lynn
The death occurred peacefully on Tuesday 17th December at the Galway Clinic of Tommy Lynn Faranoo Killala Rd Ballina, formerly of Mullenmore Crossmolina and Keenagh. His remains reposed at Hiney’s Funeral Home on Thursday evening. Funeral Mass in St Patricks Church Ballina on Friday morning with burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery. Tommy is survived by his wife Mary daughters Mary T., Rosaleen, Breege, Deirdre, Kathleen, Aoife, sons Pat, Frank, Seán, Keith, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his sixteen loving grandchildren, sister-in-law Anne Finnerty, extended Lynn and McHale families, neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace

Liam New Chairman
Congratulation to Liam Moffatt who was elected Chairman of Mayo GAA becoming only the Second Crossmolina Clubman to hold the Office. The first being Cannon William Davis PP back in 1948 and 1949. It’s a great Honour for the Deel-Rovers Club and especially Liam and all the Moffatt Family who have been associated with the club for many decades playing and administrators. Liam All-Ireland Club medal Winner with club in 2001. Having played in all grades of football for Club and county during his career

The late Bridie Barrett
The death occurred peacefully on Monday 16th December of Bridie Barrett nee Rowland Moy Heights and formerly of Keenagh Ballina. Her remains reposed at McGowans Funeral Home Ballina on Thursday Evening with removal to St. Muredach’s Cathedral Ballina. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday morning with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery. Bridie was Predeceased by her husband John and son Peter, brothers Anthony and Sean and sister Mary Mullarkey. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her heartbroken daughter Mary Catherine, sons Pat and Sean, brother Paddy Keenagh Ballina, grandchildren Jonathan, Thomas, Seafra, Jennifer and Niamh, daughter-in-law Bernie, sister-in-law Margaret Rowland, brother-in-law Jackie Mullarkey, nephews, nieces, Sandra, Aoife and Clodgh Goodwin, relatives, carers, neighbours and many friends.
