There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot Saturday night 24th October the numbers drawn were 6 – 7 – 13 – 34. Mary and Thomas Jordan Enniscoe Crossmolina matched three numbers and they win €150. This week’s jackpot is €7.500. The draw takes place in GAA Club Rooms on Saturday night and can be viewed on Crossmolina GAA face book page. Many thanks for your continued support.

Badminton News
Our annual Round Robin singles event was interrupted due to covid19 last March. However most matches had been played and now we can confirm our winners in each category. U11 winner Oliver Jackson r-up Eoin Floyd, U13 winner Alex Kenny r-up Patrick Leonard, U15 winner Emily Loftus r-up Sarah Conway, and U17 winner Anne Murphy r-up Aoibhe Dunne. In the adult Ladies Singles winner A. Gough r-up Maureen Timlin, Men’s Singles winner David Collins r-up Jonathan Verry. As we’re still in lockdown we will have a virtual Presentation as soon as possible.

John James McLoughlin RIP.
The death occurred peacefully on Tuesday 27th October at Ballinamore House Nursing Home, Kiltimagh in his 95th year of John James McLoughlin Fotish Crossmolina and Formerly of Corvoderra Bellacorick. Requiem Mass was celebrated on Thursday, 29th October in St. Tiernan’s Church, Crossmolina. Burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery. John James was predeceased by his wife Mary and daughter Assumpta. He will be sadly missed by his sons J.J. (Crossmolina), Gabriel (Kiltimagh), daughters Maureen McGuinness (Crossmolina), Geraldine Carolan (Crossmolina), Dympna Cheah (Malaysia), Siobhan Kelly (Kerry). Sister Sarah Chambers New York, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Due to Government advice and HSE restrictions John James’ Funeral was privately for family only. The family would like to thank you for your co-operation and understanding at this time. May he rest in peace
Mindspace Outreach Service in Ballina FRC
Mindspace Mayo offers a support service to young people (15-25yrs) presenting with anything from common concerns (e.g. dealing with break-up, exam stress, bullying) to young people with emerging mental health difficulties such as mild depression and anxiety. The outreach service will run one day a week (Monday) and is based in the Ballina Family Resource Centre. Kathleen Flynn RIP.
The death occurred peacefully on Tuesday 27th October of Kathleen Flynn (nee Lynn) Abbeyview, Crossmolina, Co. Mayo. Requiem Mass was celebrated on Friday in St. Tiernan’s Church. With burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery. Kathleen deeply mourned by her loving husband Peter, daughter Tracey, son-in-law Mark, grandson Lochlan, brothers Pat and Frank, sisters Mary and Ann, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends. In keeping with Government guidelines regarding public gatherings, Kathleen’s Funeral Mass was private for family only.
