Crossmolina Junior team lost out to Westport in the County league Division 4 in Westport on Saturday week The West Mayo men were in control throughout lead at the break 2-6 to 1-5 Stephen O’Malley fisting the goal just before the break Thomas McNulty Brendan Birrane Pat Loftus Shane Hennigan and J.P Mulhern scored the Deel-Siders points after the break but Alan Kennedy Cillian Kilkelly and co kept the Scoring rate and ran out winners by 4-12 to 1-12

There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 2nd June. The numbers were 5 – 9 – 14 – 30 one match three numbers Shay Rowland and Majella Cuffe Riverwalk Crossmolina who win €150. The draw took place in the Dolphin. This weeks Jackpot is €9,600. The festival will launch their “Summer Family Fun” brochure on Sunday next after 11:30am mass. The brochure will have all the details on family events in Crossmolina during July & August including the Homecoming Festival, Summer Camps, North Mayo Heritage Centre, Crossmolina Show, Enniscoe Vintage Day etc. Next Sunday’s mass will be a special family mass to celebrate the World Meeting Of Families.
Tickets are on sale now for a Hair and Beauty Masterclass taking place during the festival and the first 40 tickets sold will receive a free Moroccan Oil Hamper Pack, tickets are priced at €5 and available at Heather Lynott Hairdressing.

On Sat June 30th at 1pm Bishop John Fleming will celebrate mass in Killocraun NS to mark 120 years of the school.
Following mass, a day of fun events for all is guaranteed. There will be music and drama by current and past pupils. Registers, roll books and photos will be on display and refreshments will be served on the day.
Later that evening in Cawley’s of Rakestreet music will be provided by the Sweeney Macs. Past pupils and teachers, neighbours and friends are all invited to celebrate this special day. We are looking forward to meeting you all on the 30th

Congratulation to Crossmolina National School who won the Division 2 Boys Cumann Na mBunscol final in a thrilling game in McHale on Thursday last against a very gallant The Quay NS Westport. A Dylan Flynn goal and Sean óg McGuinness point sealed a memorial victory 2- 12 to 1-1. See Sports Section for full report
