Crossmolina continued their good early season form with a hard-earned win over a resilient Hollymount/Carramore in the south Mayo venue on Saturday week. The visitors had the much better of the exchanges in the opening half leading at the break 1 – 7 to 0 – 5. A goal and a point from James Maheady, five points from Fionan Duffy and one from Diamuid Walsh. Darren Coen was the hosts most dangerous forward in the third quarter with five points. Goals each in the fourth quarter from Paddy Leddy and Fionan Duffy secured the points for the Deel siders after a very physical contest on a rather cold evening. Crossmolina Team and Scorers J. P.
